Where was Greve in past times?

Ancient central Italy during the Roman period showing the location of present day Greve on the border of the provinces of Tuscia and Etruria. Greve is near Ad Aquileia (Equilia), a Roman way-station on the Via Cassia which is probably now the Castle of Mugnana. This way-station was not far from the intersection of the Via Cassia with the Via Maremmana at La Panca and the Castle of Cintoia.
